Guided by Faith, Empowering Lives: Fostering Sustainability and Resilience for Body, Mind, and Spirit
Our main goal is to connect individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds to the best resources to enhance their lives. We are not limited to, but we will be providing classes, mentors, highlighting job opportunities, leading people to faith-based events to encourage them, and more importantly, partnering and serving with others to be an intervention to the work that needs to be done with our youth. Our prayer is that the center will be an intervention to the violence and high crime in the city of Chicago.
Your donations directly support connecting individuals and families to essential resources.

As a single mom, managing finances can be a real challenge. Dee’s Resource Center came through for me during a tough time, offering the financial assistance I desperately needed. Their support went beyond just monetary aid; they provided me with practical budgeting tips that have helped me gain better control over my finances.
Dee’s Resource Center also introduced me to valuable resources for low or no-cost business training, which are helping me pursue my entrepreneurial goals. Websites like SCORE, Coursera, and LinkedIn Learning have been instrumental in providing the knowledge and skills I need to move forward.
Thanks to Dee’s Resource Center, I’m not only able to manage my present needs but also build a brighter future for myself and my family.
As a troubled teen I met a remarkable woman named Dee Haywood. During this time I was enrolled in a therapeutic day school. She saw something in me that I didn’t recognize at that particular time. I excelled tremendously and was able to eventually enroll back into public school. My journey did not end there, I ended up getting pregnant at the age of seventeen. I had a lot of mixed emotions about the situation. Although I did end up having a miscarriage, MS Dee would always have a positive word for me, whether it was biblical or everyday advice.
She would pick me up for church, or just to run errands with her and help her out. An a way she taught me how to be a responsible young adult Education was and still is a big thing for her. I actually Graduated from City Colleges Of Chicago 2011 and she attended my graduation, thank you so much Ms Dee for your love and support. Later years I step away from my positive course of life and choose a life of destruction. Guess who still didn’t give up on me. Ms Dee would send me scripture. Never treated me differently because of my life style choices and still saw me as Virginia.
